TXDLA 2008 Conference

This is the second page --Just to show how to branch from page to page.

Need to plan for...

Working Effectively with Livestock Producers for Reno, Nevada. People coming are Arnold Norman, Dennis Thompson, Glen Carpenter, Dana Larsen, Stuart Gardner, Walter Jackson, David Kraft, Lee Voigt, Greg Hendricks, David Polk, and Patti Novak.

Harmony Workshop is coming up soon for design and development. Roylene Ride at the door from Warwick, Rhode Island is the team leader. I may have to go to Rhode Island and visit Patrick Rossoni at Starbase Academy.

Extending Outreach to All Customers might need to be piloted at Gainesville, Florida in late August. If this materialized, I'll go and visit Arsee Gandia in Jacksonville. I think it is about an hour away.

Civil Rights Compliance in Program Delivery is still in the works. The pilot at Salina, Kansas was delayed due to budget.

Still waiting for Prescribed Burning from George Allen Rasmussen of Texas A&M to rectify the course before we can deploy it on Aglearn.

Professional Development at CDLR

Found www.Golearn.gov with what appears to be Working Effectively with Tribal Governments for Harmony Workshop.

The picture was taken by John Whitney when we walked around Las Vegas strip in December 2006?

Picture of Gate Keep in mind, unless you make some efforts to apply the new knowledge or skills immediately, there's a risk of losing it. Always find ways to try the newly-acquired skills. If students do not expect to use the new skills to be taught, they would not qualify or meet prerequisite for training. If they do attend, it would be a waste of instructional efforts.

I can probably show you how to create a web page, but if you don't do web page as part of your day-to-day chores, you will just forget it. Thus, if you don't use it, you'll forget it and you simply would not meet the prerequisite as target audience.
